Truck Service Centre, Truckipedia

Vocational truck services present unique challenges because there are many different types of trucks in this category, including dump trucks, service trucks, concrete trucks, and construction trucks, just to name a few. The varying configurations also highlight how important vocational trucks are to virtually all industries and the countless daily activities of the public sector.

When a vocational truck is in need of service, the repairs must be done quickly without compromising quality for the safety of everyone on the road and to minimize downtime for companies.

At Velocity Truck Centres, our Edmonton South and Edmonton West locations offer reliable and efficient vocational truck services. Here’s what you can expect when you book a service appointment at one of our Velocity Truck Centres Edmonton locations.

Factory-trained and fully certified technicians

In today’s modern landscape, vocational trucks are evolving to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. All-new state-of-the-art technology and intuitive innovations require extensive training for technicians to remain up-to-date with modern equipment and new safety regulations.

It’s important to not only possess knowledge about these changes but also to be able to implement them through our service offerings. At Velocity Truck Centres, we know that you depend on your truck for work, so we want to make sure it’s in tip-top shape. Our factory-trained technicians are experts who have completed courses offered by manufacturers and offer unmatched knowledge when servicing any make or model of vocational vehicles.

Longest service hours in the industry

Many service shops are only open on weekdays from 9 AM-5 PM, which is an inconvenience for industries that operate during the evenings and weekends. Vocational trucks are workhorses and the reality is, issues can happen at any time of the day.

Our Velocity Truck Centres facilities have the longest service hours in the business, allowing us to serve you when repairs need to be made. Our Edmonton South and Edmonton West service shops are open 7 days a week from 6 AM-10 PM. Additionally, we offer a full-service emergency mobile unit that is available to meet you where you are.

This means you don’t need to schedule around limited business hours and you can get back on the road as soon as possible. We also offer an ‘Express Assessment’, which is our commitment to giving our customers their first status update at 2 hours and communicating when we’ll contact you next. The next contact is typically the diagnosis, an estimate for parts and labour, and an estimated time of completion.

Extensive parts inventory

Waiting for parts is one of the most challenging parts of vocational truck repairs, especially when it takes days and weeks for the part to come in. These delays are costly and we want to help you avoid this downtime as much as possible.

Our dealer network across Western Canada gives us access to over 8 million dollars in parts inventory. Having an extensive parts inventory is one of the reasons we can complete repairs quicker than most vocational truck service shops in Edmonton.
