Truckipedia Blog Category - Velocity Truck Centres Recognized and Awarded CIC Excellence

In December several members of the Velocity Truck Centres Continuous Improvement Coordinator team attended the North American Elite Support Summit to further learn about continuous improvement amongst the Velocity Truck Centres branches.

Part of the summit was an awards ceremony where numerous FTC locations were recognized and awarded plaques for CIC excellence.

Congratulations to all of Velocity Truck Centres for winning the following:

• Scott Brook won the WOW Award which is given for recognizing excellence in 5S implementation.
• FTC Edmonton West was presented with an outstanding achievement plaque for completing our Service Performance Development project in 2020.  The team was led by Christina Roth and included Holly Schauerte, Bryce McCracken, Bernard Gurney, and the project team in Edmonton.
• FTC Surrey was presented with an outstanding achievement plaque for completing their Truck Sales Performance Development project in 2020.  That team was led by Gerald Tocher (retired) and included Victor Grigoletto, and the sales team in Surrey.

There were also two Continuous Improvement events in the finalists running for CI Event of the year: Decreasing Warranty Chargebacks by Michelle Kwasny, Edmonton and Implementing Electronic Parts Requests by Paige Hicks, Prince George.
