Edmonton, Alberta (August 23, 2022) – First Industries Corporation (“First Industries Corporation” or “Velocity Truck Centres”), a multi-location Western Canadian heavy duty DTNA truck dealership group, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Woolley’s Crane & Truck Equipment.

With over 20 years’ experience building and servicing truck mounted equipment, Woolley’s has established itself as a market leader in supporting the Knuckle boom and Telescopic Crane, Aerial equipment, and Hi-Rail markets in British Columbia. Their extensive knowledge and dedication in maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction makes them a perfect fit with Velocity Truck Centres, providing our customers increased support in the Kamloops and surrounding region.

The key to the continued growth of Velocity Truck Centres is to find scalable business offerings that enhance our customer’s experience by adding to the breadth and depth of either our product or service offerings across our multiple geographies and end markets.” says Rod Graham, CEO and President.

“The years of knowledge and specialized service that the Woolley Crane team provides will increase support to an already extraordinary team,” says Curtis Godfrey, Regional General Manager BC South. “The acquisition is also expected to result in more support for the growing hi-rail markets that are in the Kamloops area, with mobile service capabilities.”

“It’s great to be part of the Velocity Truck Centres organization with branches spread across a diverse geographic area,” says Tim Woolley owner of Woolley’s Crane & Truck Equipment, “the unique offerings that we are able to provide to customers will reduce downtime and make it easier for them to get back up and running.”

The merger with Woolley’s Crane & Truck Equipment is Velocity Truck Centres’s second acquisition in 2022 and supports our vision to increase customer support in the geographic areas where we do business.
