Warranty Administrator

Responsibilities:

The Warranty Administrator is responsible to ensure completion of repair orders to meet customer warranty claims standards. This role is responsible for WIP (work in progress) management and maintenance, claim documentation, verifying approvals for vendors, filings and recording all warranty and service documents, reconciliations, file claims for vendor processing and providing out customers with excellent communication and service.

Parts Technician

Opportunity:

First Truck Centre Vancouver, Inc. is hiring a Parts Technician at our Surrey, BC location. This role is responsible for ensuring our products and services in the parts department exceeds our customers expectations. Duties include receiving and sorting incoming parts and supplies, process incoming orders, tracking backorders, keeping customers up to date, and is the subject matter expert on all parts for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

The Parts Technician will work as part of a team to sell, store, and supply parts to external customers and distribute parts to internal repair shops. This position is a customer focused technical role that requires sales skills, excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and extensive knowledge on heavy duty truck parts.

Skill Set:

  • Customer service focused to service and maintain a base of loyal customers, responsible for customer relations including resolving customer concerns.

Lot Attendant

Opportunity:

Our Surrey, BC location has an exciting opening for a Lot Attendant. The Lot Attendant reports directly to the Service Manager and works daily with our team to maintain, clean, and organize our lot and inventory of new, used, and consignment trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance of the property including cleaning windows, watering plants, sweeping, clearing the parking lot, sweeping, shoveling snow and clearing ice.
  • Cleaning and organizing the retail show room, maintain and clean the driver’s lounge.
    • Detailing vehicles, basic vehicle maintenance and driving vehicles around the lot.
    • General duties in the office including building and organizing furniture, conducting general repairs and must be able to work with basic hand tools.

Our James Western Star location in Prince George, BC is hiring a Sales Manager to oversee the Northern BC locations and their sales staff. This role is based out of Prince George and travel to Williams Lake and Fort St. John will be required. We are looking for a system administrator with at least 2 years of experience to join our IT team. Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a tractor/trailer dealership
  • 2+ years of Sales experience

  • Must be knowledgeable with Freightliner and Western Star
